AGGRESSION MMA IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THE APPOINTMENT OF NEW DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS TO CONTINUE GROWTH ACROSS CANADA

April 24, 2010 – Edmonton, AB. – Aggression MMA is excited to announce Mr. Keith Crawford as the new Director of Operations for the company. Aggression MMA exploded onto the scene in October 2009 and has been growing rapidly ever since.

Realizing the Edmonton market is a hot bed for MMA, Aggression was keen on starting its promotion there, however before matchmaking even began for the inaugural show, plans were always in place to make Aggression a domestic product across Canada, not just a regional MMA promotion. Bringing first quality to everything that management of the company does, Aggression was eager to begin a new direction of expansion outside of Alberta and the first step to accomplishing that was to bring on someone as decorated as Mr. Keith Crawford.

Mr. Crawford has been involved in the sport of Mixed Martial Arts for more than 15 years, from his time of training, to his participation in Muay Thai and his legitimate foray in actual, sanctioned mixed martial arts fights, Mr. Crawford quickly took his knowledge and transformed it into corporate success with organizations such as King of the Cage and the highly touted Hardcore Fighting Championships. Now Mr. Crawford brings his extensive knowledge and business relationships to the Aggression MMA platform.

President, Moin Mirza was quoted as saying “Mr. Crawford brings a depth of knowledge in MMA to the management of Aggression MMA. We always looked at this organization as something unique that could be recognized across Canada, not just something that could be recognized in the small city of Edmonton. We started that movement with our first show in Vernon, British Columbia on May 21, 2010, however with the plans of growth that we have always visioned, we knew that we needed to bring someone on board that would springboard us onto the Canada-wide MMA map and Keith was the obvious choice. Mr. Crawford had great success with King of the Cage and continued his success with his own MMA promotion Hardcore Fighting Championships, which was featured The Score Television Network. Keith brings a wealth of background with him that includes relationships with The Score, TSN, as well as international giants such as Budweiser and the Forzani Group. Keith will focus on three main areas of sponsorship, marketing and promotion and we strongly believe that Keith is the piece of the puzzle that will put us over the top.”
